About Me
Hello! My name is Jessica Crawford and this is my tenth year teaching English at Fitzgerald. I love sharing my passion for reading and writing with my students. I look forward to working with you this year!
Education: I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in history. I earned my Master's in the Art of Teaching with a focus on Literacy from Saginaw State University in 2012. I am certified in English and history for grades 7-12 and have a K-12 Literacy Specialist certification as well.
Additional Information: My husband and I married in July 2012. We welcomed our first son Michael in March 2016. We also both adore our terrier mix, Taylor. My absolute favorite activity in the world is reading. You hardly catch me without a book, and I am always sharing title and authors in the classroom. I believe that everyone can like to read; they just have to find the right book.
